Here, walk through remarkably preserved Roman streets, grand temples, plazas, arches, and theatres that offer a fascinating glimpse into life during the Roman Empire.

Continue to Ajloun Castle, an impressive 12th-century Islamic fortress built by one of Saladin’s generals to defend the region against Crusader invasions. Enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding hills and valleys before returning to Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, travel south along the historic King's Highway to Madaba, known as the "City of Mosaics." Visit St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, home to the famous 6th-century mosaic map depicting Jerusalem and the Holy Land, one of the oldest surviving cartographic representations in existence.

Continue your exploration through the vast archaeological site, discovering the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, ancient temples, amphitheatre, and numerous structures carved directly into the rose-colored sandstone cliffs. Learn about the Nabataean civilization that transformed Petra into a thriving trade hub over 2,000 years ago. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Petra.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Petra for additional exploration or relaxation before departing for the magnificent desert wilderness of Wadi Rum. Known as the "Valley of the Moon," Wadi Rum is one of Jordan’s most spectacular natural landscapes, characterized by towering sandstone mountains, red sand dunes, and vast open desert scenery.
